Founded in 2007, by Kelly Koeppel, k2forma has been designing brand identities, marketing and advertising campaigns, events, publications and web sites for numerous world-class corporations and non-profit organizations. We have successfully serviced companies and national brands in the action sports, motorsports, retail, small business, music, education, and healthcare industries.

 

Last year after purchasing a turn-of-the-century letterpress printer, we have been obsessively printing with vintage wood type, hand-made wood cuts, and polymer plates. The inclusion of letterpress allows us to get back to the fundamentals of designing and creating. With so much time spent behind computers, it helps us be more creative when we can work with our hands.

 

We enjoy working with clients who share our passion for creativity and originality. Some of our clients include bebe, Belk, BCBG, Caterpillar Inc., Polo Ralph Lauren, Rent-A-Center, Syngenta, Talbots, and many more.

Kelly Koeppel :: President/Creative Director

Kelly is an award-winning designer and the founder of k2forma, Inc. Ms. Koeppel earned a degree in Fine Art from Columbia College Chicago in 1997. In 2007, Koeppel attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City, enrolled in the Continuing Education Department’s Milton Glaser Workshop.

 

Koeppel began her career in Chicago, creating marketing and communications campaigns for The Chicago Board of Trade, BlueCross BlueShield Association, National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, and more.

 

 

Trent Thibodeaux :: Art Director

Trent graduated from Watkins College of Art, Design & Film in 2005 with a BFA in Graphic Design. He began his career at The Buntin Group as an Associate Art Director where he serviced clients such as BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, RBC Centura Bank, O’Charley’s, Cracker Barrel, ServePro and Genesco.

 

Over the last four and a half years, Thibodeaux’s work has been recognized by the American Advertising Federation and The Higher Education Advertising Awards. In 2011 Thibodeaux won three National Higher Education awards and three local Addy awards including two Gold Addy’s and a Best in Show.

 

 

Stacey Kirkham :: Project Manager/Account Services

Stacey began her career at the world-renowned advertising agency, Wieden+Kennedy, in Account Services working with brands such as Target, Coca Cola, and Diet Coke.

 

 

Marcus Miller :: Jr. Designer

Marcus graduated from The Art Institute of Charlotte in 2011 with a BA in Graphic Design. In 2009, Marcus joined k2forma as an intern. Dedicated, hard working, and creative, Marcus has gone on to win Most Outstanding portfolio for his graduating class.
